Privacy Policy
Anone Publishing ("we", "us") handles the personal information you give us when you buy sheet music as described in this policy.
Information we collect
- Email address: you enter it on the Stripe checkout page when you buy
- Order details: order number, the score you bought, amount, currency, date and time of purchase, and whether it was refunded
- Download records: date and time, number of downloads, and the country estimated from your IP address
- IP address: sent to Cloudflare, which runs this site, when you visit a page or download a file. We do not record the IP address itself
- Messages you send us: your name, email address, order number and the content of your message when you contact us through the contact form or by email
- Analytics data: browsing information that Google Analytics collects with cookies (pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and so on). We do not link it to your name or email address
You enter card numbers and other payment details directly on the Stripe checkout page. We never receive them.
How we use it
- To deliver the score you bought (we email you a download link)
- To print your email address, purchase date and order number on the PDF, to discourage unauthorized sharing
- To answer your questions, and to look up your order when we resend a link or issue a refund
- To detect misuse of download links
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics)
- To keep records required by law
We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We share only what each of the following companies needs for the purposes above. Except where required by law, we do not share your information with anyone else.

Transfers outside Japan
These companies are based mainly in the United States, and your information is processed on servers in the United States. Cloudflare and Stripe may also process it on servers in other countries. The United States has no single federal law equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information; privacy is governed by state laws.
We have confirmed that these companies maintain systems that meet the standards of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (they commit, in their terms of service or data processing agreements, to handle personal information properly). On request, we will explain those systems and the steps we take to check that they are followed.
Cookies
This site uses the following cookies:
- Language choice: remembers the language you chose (Japanese or English) so the next visit shows pages in that language
- Google Analytics: for analytics. See Google's policy for how Google uses this information
For visitors from the European Economic Area (including the EU) and the United Kingdom, we do not set Google Analytics cookies until you give consent.
You can stop Google Analytics cookies in either of these ways:
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on from Google
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will no longer remember your language, but you can still buy scores
How long we keep it
- Order details and email delivery records: 7 years from purchase, because tax law requires us to keep transaction records
- Download records: 7 years from purchase. We keep them with the order to check when we resend a link or issue a refund
- Messages you send us (through the contact form or by email): 3 years after the conversation ends
- Google Analytics data: 14 months from collection
After these periods we delete the information or make it impossible to identify you.
How we protect it
- We do not store download-link keys as they are. We keep only an irreversible hash. Each link expires and can be used a limited number of times
- Only the site's operator can see order records. The admin pages and API are protected with keys
- All connections are encrypted (HTTPS)
Your rights
You can ask us to disclose, correct, add to, or delete your personal information, to stop using it, or to stop sharing it with third parties. Please use our contact form. After confirming that the request comes from you (for example, by a message from the email address you used to buy), we will respond without delay and free of charge.
We may be unable to delete records that the law requires us to keep until the required period ends. If so, we will tell you why.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
